Having previously written songs for legends such as One Direction, Britney Spears, Zara Larsson, David Guetta, Wyclef Jean, Agnes, Petter, and Daniel Adams-Ray; Ana Diaz decided in 2016 to debut herself.
Her debut took the form of two critically acclaimed EPs – Lyssna del 1 and Lyssna del 2, for which she was nominated “Songwriter of the Year” on Grammisgalan (Swedish Grammy Awards), and P3 Gold nomination “New Artist of the Year”.
Today, Ana’s music has been streamed over 33 million times in total on Spotify.
In the beginning of 2020 Ana Diaz made a strong comeback after three years of silence with the single 100, a heart-wrenching love ballad about the end of a relationship.
The song touched many, and has today reached Gold status with over 6.5 million streams on Spotify.
Shortly thereafter her second single Allt e lättare på sommarn was released together with Parham, which was followed by the single Bättre sen which held its place on Svensktoppen for a total of 6 weeks.
Last spring, Diaz released the album Tröst och vatten which received outstanding reviews and was praised by Swedish elite papers and journalists.
Most recently, her participation in Swedish reality tv-show Så Mycket Bättre has caught the attention from the whole country, wondering what lies ahead for Ana Diaz’s own career.
With a rich career background and a strong artist ID, it looks like Diaz is about to take the Swedish music scene by storm.
